Reconnecting a bank recognizes the same transactions instead of adding copies.

You can safely renew bank access: Martia preserves older history and your edits while reconciling overlapping transactions into one clear record.

What happens when you reconnect?

Banks usually return roughly three months of history again. Martia compares that window with transactions you already have and records the provenance of every safe match.

Transactions older than the bank's returned window remain unchanged. An operation missing from a bank response is not deleted.

Your edits and transfers stay intact

Manual categories, descriptions, notes, and internal-transfer labels are preserved. We repair the transaction list and detect transfers between your own accounts before automatic categorization runs.
